Description: I began this piece after guiding the North Ridge of Forbidden peak and base-camping with the ever spectacular view of Johannesburg Mountain. Like most of my alpine guiding days, they're usually quite big days and I'm only able to squeeze in some time at the end of the day when the light is fading.
